Course Description:
This course is designed to provide basic IV Therapy and Blood Withdrawal knowledge, demonstrate IV
Therapy and Blood Withdrawal technical skills, and apply those learned skills in relation to administration of
intravenous fluid therapy and blood withdrawal.
IV Certification and Blood Withdrawal for the State of California will be received after successful completion of the State approved certification exam.
Prerequisites:
Any student wishing to obtain certification must have a current California LVN license. Currently, enrolled LVN students may attend course; however, will NOT receive certification until proof of licensure is provided. (Enrollment verification required.)
Course Materials:
All required texts will be provided to the student upon registration and payment.
